Yes. People are less patient with each other. COVID has made everyone be afraid of strangers, even more then before, even if people don't realize it.

Plus economy sucks, plus the war is boiling, plus it's early spring and everyone wants the weather to be pleasant.

Why there age matter, especially if you can't say if they are 17 or already 18? Hell, even if you know for a fact they are 16? They still can damage, rape or kill you.
