It sure was - in the end when the Nostromo detonates there’s no sound just blinding light until the shock wave hits the escape pod. It’s the shock wave rippling through the escape pod that makes the noise.

This is exactly what I wondered when I read the headline.

This is a solution in search of a problem. How is my life improved by having an IoT refrigerator or dishwasher or stove? For that matter how is my life improved by adding a flat panel display on the fridge? So I can look inside by hitting a button instead of, you know, looking inside by opening the door?
This is what happens when a bunch of suits scramble to catch the next wave without any clue as to what that wave may be or why it might be important.
Edit - spelling

In all seriousness there have been deposits of water found on the moon and soil samples from the Apollo missions have been used to grow plants. There may be a need to add minerals and nutrients missing on earth but this doesn’t seem insurmountable. The biggest problem short term is likely making it scale to a point that lunar crops could actually provide meaningful volume to feed people.

This seems to be a relatively new thing for PMs. I’m in a job search now and it’s literally taken me 2 months to get to an offer with 2 orgs. I’m not sure I want the one job and the other has gone quiet so I’m terrified that I have to start over.
Just a few years ago this process took weeks not months. I don’t know why but this seems to be the new norm.
