The dirty little secret is Republicans are completely fine with Shapiro. Republicans don't want to deal with polarization that comes with Mastriano. Republicans will control the state legislature. Shapiro will be the governor. They'll work together and be successful. Everyone wins.

You're insinuating that all Republicans believe in the extreme views. Do all Democrats believe in extreme views? Don't lump everyone together like that to justify yourself. It's shallow.

Can you say opposing views to yours don't have a right to exist without saying it? Lol

It's going to be interesting how each party is going to handle it if we end up with a Republican winning one election and a Democrat winning the other. It'll be hard to make an argument for one candidate and not the other.

You're exactly the reason why we need mail-in ballots. Unfortunately a lot of people are using mail in ballots who live a couple of blocks from a voting place, and are physically capable of voting in person but choose not to for convenience.

Seems like doubt is the intended purpose when you wait till election day to count.

When you confirm enough votes on election night and the remaining ones can't overcome the difference they can call the election. If there isn't enough then you wait. That's the way it's always worked. With the large amount of mail in happening now it gets more difficult so we wait. The longer it takes the more doubt is built in voters minds.

We could know almost all legally cast votes on election night just like other states already do. Wouldn't you prefer that to the system that we use that causes doubt the longer it takes?

If we would join the 38 states who count early we could have it mostly wrapped up by election night.

With mail in voting bigger than ever, and counting not happening until election day, confidence will be low the longer it takes.

The question is will the Dems be "election deniers" if this election doesn't go the way they want?

If you happen to end up not traveling out of town then show up to vote in person and explain the situation. They'll let you do a provisional vote. Good luck to you.

This election is very important for both sides of the aisle. I wouldn't risk mail in voting if you are physically capable of voting in person. Obviously if you're not physically capable or going to be out of town then use mail-in voting.

One thing that's guaranteed is whichever party loses is going to complain, but they'll have to thread the needle if we end up with Shapiro and Oz.

“It’s really important for us to get accurate information about the election process in Pennsylvania,” Chapman said. “So voters and the public know that when there are delays in counting, it doesn’t mean that there’s anything nefarious happening. It’s just what the law is in Pennsylvania.”
