Go to a bait shop and get the following:

Bobbers/floats 1/8 oz sinkers Trout hooks Nightcrawlers Powerbait

Tie the hook to your line, attach the sinker two inches above the hook, and attach the float 2 feet above the hook. You can always adjust the float if you aren't getting any bites.

Usually stocked trout will go after powerbait or nightcrawlers(or both). Be prepared to go wherever you are going early and also to be around a lot of people. Carolina Trout Pond is a good place to take kids, also very busy. There may also be some kids only places.

If I was a bar owner anywhere in the city, I would run a shuttle to and from the game to anyone that buys a drink at my establishment. Not a solution to the problem, but it would be cool if you could go to your neighborhood bar, not in the center of town, and have a free ride. Obviously the more bars that did it, the greater effect it would have.

When I lived in Wisconsin, a ton of bars would do this in Milwaukee county for Brewers games, granted Milwaukee has a pretty big drinking culture. My neighborhood bar was in walking distance, so I would just walk there, grab a drink, and get a ride to and from the game.

Oh my friend how you are mistaken. Being a boomer isn't about your age.

Being a boomer is about not knowing if you should use "your" or "you're", typing in all caps locks, blaming today's problems on the younger generations, bragging about buying a house "back in their day" on a janitor's salary (no disrespect to janitors), and believing you are superior to other generations simply because you're older.

Yes, we all hate Boston and many of us left Boston for Worcester because we hate Boston so much. Point taken.

With that said, Worcester doesn't have the economy to support its current population, access to more jobs is a top priority, and not only that but let's say you decrease the train ride from Worcester to Boston to 1 hour. That's going to make Worcester a very reasonable destination for many more people to consider living here, bring in tax dollars, etc.
