I like this idea.

The fact that she even put bat to ball against a D-1 pitcher is something, though. I'm not sure I could do that.
I'm hoping she gets at least a few more at-bats. It'll be interesting to see what she can do in the future.

He's exceptionally fast for a football player.
That's an important and meaningful distinction here, because certain characteristics that are necessary to play football will also necessarily make you a slower sprinter. He's not a world-class track sprinter because track sprinting isn't his primary focus.

If there is a virus that can self-replicate, that's news to me. Which viruses do that?

If you're counting viruses as an "organism", which the biological community does not, then the minimum amount of code required is none. Prions are misfolded proteins that have no DNA/RNA whatsoever and are able to "function" in much the same way as a virus by causing other proteins to misfold.

Shes really nice, and she's obviously a very good diver. A lot of people in the scientific community aren't real stoked with what she's doing, though.

A much better example is penguins, dolphins, and sharks all having very similar appendages for swimming, or birds, bats, and butterflies all having wings.

Indeed I have, and they aren't powered by plutonium.
And even if they were that would be completely irrelevant since we're talking about electric cars here.

I mean the league minimum salary for the NFL is $660k/yr, which is much more than the vast majority of doctors make. So if this guy is on an NFL roster, he's most certainly getting paid more than most doctors.

Another LPT: overhead press will cause significant damage to your rotator cuff over time.

You don't have to worry about finding a cop. If you're in one of the 49 out of 50 US states that have at-will employment laws, you're free to just get up and walk out of your job any time you want.
Your employer could try calling the police to stop you, but they'd get laughed at and then ignored.
The expectation of two weeks notice to quit your job is simply a standard courtesy, and you have no obligation to provide it if you're not planning on asking them for anything in the future.

The NBA should take a page from the NHL on that. When flopping started happening in games, they put the kibosh on that real quick. I basically can't even watch soccer anymore with all the flopping, and I do not want that to happen to basketball.
