Get in touch with this company https://goodpointrecycling.net They’re the largest e-cycle company in the north east, based in Middlebury. They work with companies to recycle their electronics, but may be able to give you guidance (I believe they also have drop off locations).

These were a life saver for me over years in the barn and around. They’re really sturdy and support their products really well.

Russia has been exerting increasing power there over the last decade: https://www.csis.org/features/ice-curtain-russias-arctic-military-presence
Russia has 40 icebreakers while the US has one that is over 40 years old, so patrolling/protection of our Arctic interests is limited. The Arctic has vast untapped resources that Russia wants to claim.

Schooling Putin in Ukraine is a LOT cheaper than confronting him in the Arctic, which is his ultimate goal.

Adding: VOTE y’all. Don’t take your perception of VT as a democratic haven for granted. In 2016 my former bucolic VT village voted for Trump (since moved). There’s a pretty healthy Confederate, Don’t Tread On Me and white “patriot” contingent here.

The Tatro family has had many run-ins with the law. I can’t believe they got away with torturing that poor girl.

Route 7 should be lit. If you make it as far north as 30 in Cornwall, you’ll get the Adirondacks to the west and the green mountain range on the right (driving north). Sweeping, incredible views in both directions. The best stretch is whiting and north to Middlebury.
Alternatively, drive up 7 to Midd and down 30 to connect with 22 then over to the through way in NY.

Reply to Subaru “all weather tire” question. by BallLikeLucky
I got the new-ish 4 season tires last year, and they work for me on my Subaru. I prefer not having to change out my tires, or creating that much waste. They’ll last about three years before I need to replace them.

Reply to First year in VT, where’s the snow? by magic_spaghetti
The trend I’ve noticed the most over the past few years is less snow, more ice. That cold snow, at -10 or so, is just so pretty but now it thaws and refreezes slick as anything.
