That's Deli City. If it's full of WMATA bus drivers, you know it's legit.

Can you imagine the smell of hot bodily fluids, chicken bones, and garbage? The living will envy the dead.

I've been barbecuing/smoking for twenty years and still have my original pair of leather fireplace gloves. In the winter, they double as oven mitts. Best $20 I ever spent.

Captain White's left, but the rest of Maine Avenue Fish Market is still there. Parking sucks, but it's still accessible. And Jessie Taylor Cooked Seafood is still legit, particularly the fried chicken.

Doug Jemal bought the original Waffle Shop and put the facade and interior in storage. They were used to build the new Stellina Pizzeria over in Mount Vernon Triangle. They actually did a pretty good job and the pizzas are excellent. Funny thing is, because of the Waffle Shop sign, people thought they'd get waffles there. They got tired of saying no, so they started serving waffles as well as pizzas. https://wtop.com/business-finance/2022/04/dcs-stellina-pizzeria-goes-retro-with-new-mt-vernon-triangle-location/
