If you really are making more, the inside of the hexagon could share walls, basically would reduce your material use by three pieces. Looks good!

It may be cheaper and easier to replace it with something similar. You could also get some sandpaper and some of the bathtub enamel touch up paint and use that to touch up the areas.

Reply to [Follow up] 22 years old and have a check made out to me for 30,000 dollars. Should I open a savings account for the initial deposit or just go straight to my checkings? by throwaway2639441
Just deposit the check into your current account, use the mobile app. Then open a high yield savings account somewhere. The bank you currently use may have one, or Ally is often mentioned. Many you can open right online, and as others said, it’s normally fairly easy to transfer money around.

Reply to Why Fires From E-Bike Batteries Have Left Cities Helpless by bikeskata
The short of it is that UL certified batteries seem safe (the Citi bike batteries haven’t burned, as far as they know). The problems are higher for non certified batteries, used batteries, and rebuilt ones. People buy non certified ones because they fit more energy in them at the expense of safety tech.
