I believe it’s Mars! The notches are just a lens aberration.. I was definitely confused the first time I saw it haha

This is an 8-panel panorama shot from Bryce Point early Tuesday morning. I’d just wrapped up shooting a panorama of the Milky Way a few hours earlier and decided to catch the sunrise before making the trip back home. I originally captured this as a potential foreground for the Milky Way but after stitching it together I decided it was perfect as a stand-alone image. I guess sometimes the least expected and least planned photos work out the best.
