Opening scene is masterful, but so is that basement scene. It’s a comfort movie for me.

You take that back. Every middle school boy that was cool had parachute pants in the mid 80s.

China Doll by The Grateful Dead.
They Love Each Other (e.g. Barton Hall rendition) if it can be counted. Ballad is somewhat subjective.

Well, there is also slow, which is not quite the same as not fast.

I remember when it came out. The show was super hyped and it was good for a bit. But I lost interest after the first season.

You made it to the 90’s and that’s alright with me. I like most of those, but only one (perhaps two) would make my top 15. Keep exploring and check back in 10 years and see what’s changed.

Well we can both hope that maybe they will eventually launch a set of movies about the Jedi-Sith war, made for adults and exploring the ambiguity between light and dark. It would be great. Characters similar to the evolution of Maul through TCW and Rebels.

Both Clone Wars and Rebels have multiple story lines about it.

The Acolyte is in the works. I think they will try to launch a whole new “phase” off this show.
The idea that Jedi are perfect all-good actors was explored long before TLJ.

There are differing levels of information for asteroids/NEOs. There are thousands of them out there. The calculations of potential impact change regularly. But NASA is giving you 100 years. Give it another 50 and see what changes.

Cake uses a lot of trumpet but I can’t specifically remember any songs played in this mariachi style. They are worth checking out anyway if you’ve never heard them.

The pic we have now is pretty damn impressive. But it took networking together multiple instruments. I don’t think we have any singular telescope nearly powerful enough to capture such an image.
