Definitely not a cruiser, it has to be covert. There is also a team dedicated to it, because you have to make sure it's documented with more than one witness. They also likely had to stake out the location for several days to catch him exiting with the stolen property. If only crime solving was so simple.

"Surveillance teams captured Johnson getting into the stolen car with a key and a debit card and two Apple watches taken from on N 18th Street."
It takes time to perform surveillance and gather enough evidence to get to the arrest warrant.

So cops actually do try to solve crimes? Everyone says they are on soft strike. 🤷

It's in the court documents and reported by all news stations including MSNBC affiliates, so it has nothing to do with faux news. I said allegedly, because I don't take it at face value, either. But there are always crazy assertions about who someone is before the whole story is told and that irks me.

The shooter is allegedly non-binary, so I do think it's a little premature to link the actions to any political causes.

It's a little confusing as the shooter themself is allegedly non-binary.

My friend would end up crying over some relationship every time we went to Coco's (now Craftsman's Row). We dubbed it Coco's crying, and we all knew what was coming when we went there.

Agree, but this kid also needed serious mental health help. The mom posted on social media that she was looking for recommendations for a therapist for him because he had PTSD and trauma. We really need to bring back mental institutions, instead of throwing them all in jail, which exacerbates problems. But, he should have been charged for the bomb threats, served time, and the court make sure he is mentally stable before releasing back into society.

Did the DA drop the charges because of the grandfather? I didn't see that. I also didn't see where the DA was MAGA?

I have a lot of liberal friends who have MAGA grandparents, too. Is there any direct connection? I don't doubt there is, but I hate the idea that someone is judging me on what my grandparents think and do.

I agree...you still have the far right wing nuts that voted him in during the primary. I just hate the 2 party system overall and how divided it is. It's clear that bipartisan efforts and compromises are a thing of the past, which is a shame, because most Americans are more moderate than the media would have you believe.

It was by design, as the Democrats had an active strategy of boosting the worst Republican candidates in the primaries, so the general election would be easier to win. It worked across several races nationwide.

No surprise that turnout was higher when people were literally afraid to leave their houses for the last 2 elections due to he pandemic.

This is a plausible explanation. 6 people were arrested for fishing out of a mailbox right outside of the post office in Massachusetts. Those are the highest volume boxes and likely to be targeted.

What does that have to do with the USPS sitting on it for 3 weeks? That is unacceptable.

Just a heads up that B&C garages sometimes fill up, but you can always check this website before you leave to see how many spaces are available in each garage. You can park in another terminal and walk to yours.

Not surprised about Mastriano, but what about Oz? I've seen nothing to suggest he is anything but supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Well, some have taken it a step further and really not performing at all, since the unemployment rate is low and you are less likely to get fired.
