I really like all three of them but my favorite shot of them all is in the first one right after Jack Sparrow talks to Barbossa about negotiating with the crew of the Interceptor for the medallion, Barbossa tells someone to throw him in the brig and he throws Jack's apple away... the music picks up while it cuts to a shot of the Interceptor riding thru the swell from off the front of the ship. I can almost smell the ocean breeze right there. Mmm

Was a grad student back in the 80s. Drove a big ol 1973 Chevy Monte Carlo. Went to a gathering of dept students by the lake. Locked my keys in the car... fortunately, someone had a wire coat hanger in the back of their car and someone else knew how to use it. So after considerable effort and a few beers, got the door unlocked. A little rattled, I left the gathering a little early and went back to the dept....and after an hour or two I managed to leave my keys on my desk and locked myself out of my office. Sigh.... and of course after calling security from the lab.. was sitting down waiting by the mailroom (where you could see both doors that security might come in)....when all the other students came back from the party..... my otherwise stoic Icelandic officemate never laughed so hard as when he let me in and i called security back to cancel.😳

That's the Bonnevile Salt Flats. One valley west of there is Pilot Valley...another salt playa... squishey-er than the Salt Flats. Spouse has done field work in PV for years. Went once or twice.... you cant even touch your face or heaven help you rub your eyes.... the dust is mostly salt..... have told kids everyone should go there once to appreciate how much nicer it is just about anyplace else on the planet than there. Spouse got bit on the eardrum by a gnat once, so that was special. Also, there are certain times of years when it's best not to go pee behind a rock because its rattlesnake season.
