What's the cost per foot to trim trees, maintain poles, and respond to downed wires? You need to be able to answer this question in order to assert burying lines is too expensive.

The deal is that all the profits go to shareholders and is not invested back into reliability measures !

Well, for one, the unions. There is a lot of money to be made in disaster response.
Second, people who just hate change and are stubborn as fuck, convinced " it it ain't broke" and then downplay the seriousness of storm outages. AND then undervalue the priceless ness of investing for a reliable and foolproof grid.

So sad. It's absolutely insane that aviation is allowed to still use leaded gasoline. Supposedly the FAA is working on an replacement, but they are taking their Mtha Fn time.

Is it near the airport? Small planes still use leaded gas. Concord has a trash incinerator also

Not sure about Berlin but most small towns have nothing going on no services. This is the price we pay to keep nature in tact and the skies dark at night to reveal the milky way.

I agree with both of you. Never been happier!!
I actually tried to help improve Massachusetts through local government volunteering and involvement but those corrupt fuckers fuckers have agendas. I finally realized it was a lost cause. Not to mention all of the robots who just go along with everything. The over building is a disgrace. Charlie Baker ruined Massachusetts!

Same situation with water so I only use environmentally friendly liquid dish soap on my car. Most chemicals are harsh.

Well , Massachusetts state government gives grants to cities and towns to pay for household hazardous waste collection. There are tradeoffs to having a lower tax state Oh, and also, the price is also cancer and polluted air and water , for your with home project convenience.

Yeah, petition to expand the sale of toxic chemicals while the state has ZERO money to run hhw collections. This might be the most selfish post I've ever seen in my life.
Manufacturers should be paying to "take back" their wastes, which would fund these collections.
Heaven forbid you are inconvenienced for the sake of clean air and water and toxics avoidance.
