Not really near AC (depending on how you define "near"). It is on the Delaware bay. Metropolis is across the river in Delaware.

Snakes are common throughout most of new jersey. Even urban areas will have snakes in parks and wooded areas.

Snow clean up and waste management is on a municipality by municipality basis. Some towns include it.

Six Flags season passes are $75 each. Which would put you right at the budget. It isn't in north jersey, but they can use them all year. Kids are a bit young to appreciate all the rides, but there are plenty of rides for younger kids. Season passes are great with little kids as well since you don't feel obligated to stay an entire day (in case one gets over tired or needs a nap).

They shot most of the next 2 films at once. Which means they probably need $2b over the next two films to break even. Which is difficult, but not as impossible as earning that for one film.

We moved to Hopewell (township) last year. We love it! It is further south then you are looking, but a quick commute to Skillman.

I feel like we have had more tornado warnings here in NJ in the last ~8 years than we had in the previous 36 years of my life.

NJM has been consistently rated very high. Usually #2 behind USAA. But one thing to note is that they recently started expanding to additional states. They used to be primarily NJ, with some PA policies. But now they opened up to all of PA, OH, DE, and MD. That could impact their customer service.
