I tried vegetarian meat alternatives for long time and they were awful. I'm definitely not for "one ultimate" solution and putting all eggs in one basket. We should research and try large set of solutions at the same time. I mentioned this mud thing because it could potentially work, is eccentric, not widely known, and gives stark contrast to "AGI will solve this" mindset.

We don’t need AGI for it but consensus and willpower. Also I’ve heard there is research it’s enough to put enough mud in oceans so to create water forests and algae ecosystems

It wouldn't matter for me how AI looks because I wouldn't use it for privacy reasons

Maybe we will skip AGI phase and humanity as a whole will remain the only collective ASI?
