It's so irritating how us Millenniel and late Gen X folks were lied to throughout the 90s that by recycling we were saving the world. Maybe back then there was a decent amount of actual recycling, but not anymore.

Just pick whenever sounds really good, and isn't more than two seasons. Maybe three if each season is short. If the show turns out to really annoy me, I'll drop it instantly. If it's not grabbing me but seems like it has promise, I'll keep with it until I enjoy it. And if the show reaches a point where it goes downhill, and making myself watch it feels like a chore, I'll dump it, even if I've nearly finished it.

It's a shame that their streaming shows just feel like typical network shows. I know it's a network owned service, but it would be nice if they stopped playing it so safe.

I go through that if I try to find another series as close to the one I loved as possible. I'll find great shows, but they just won't completely fill that hole in my heart. So I'll just try shows that ibterest me but aren't very similar.

In MY day we went work at 5 AM until 10 PM every day for 10 cents an hour. We got ulcers, heart attacks and nervous breakdowns, and many of us were dead by 60. But you know what? We liked it that way! Now, get off my lawn, you dirty hippies!"
