Because when people are willing to pay for brands. It's not always about paying for simply the logo. It's about what comes with the logo i.e. quality of the product that has been acquired through time.

For instance... I'd rather buy a certain brand of cheese/chips/ketchup than the generic store ones because that brand just tastes better. And it's worth the difference in price.

Also... Some people rather pay extra for the logo simply cause they want to be associated with the class status that comes with the product.

Yup.. Got to watch movies with quick editing, less dialogues & fairly simple plot to follow around. It keeps your mind from wondering around. While also not exhausting you.

It's hard to find good movies with that sort of style though. When you focus on flashiness. Plot becomes secondary point.

Try Social network. Batman from Christopher Nolan is solid too. John Wick Series. Oceans 11. Italian Job. Etc etc.

To me, Violent night just had many memorable characters that kept it more interesting than Fatman. Honestly I can't even remember anyone except the kid, Gibson, and hitman in the movie.

Also.. A kid hiring hitman to murder Santa is just too bleak. Meanwhile Santa saving a family held hostage is just easy to digest.

It's a hard thing to find out about because rarely do bad quotes become famous. And even when they do, actors don't want to take credit for it.

I don't know. But it'll probably be something from someone like Tommy Wiseau, or someone known for improvising a lot & had a few bad movies. I bet Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy etc etc had some terrible improv that made it to the final cut.

Yup.. I had my co-worker who was overworked, and overstressed by the workload. He vented about it to who he thought was his friend. The so called friend gossiped about it with the manager so he can get on the managers good grace. And now my co-worker is in an even shittier situation.

Sadly... a lot of young people have to learn the hard way what office politics is.

My first thought immediately went to that Dallas incident where a remote operated vehicle strapped with explosives was used to kill a gunman who had murdered officers.

So wasn't surprised to see it mentioned by the Police Lt while trying to argue for allowing his departments to use remote controlled device which can use all sorts of lethal forces.

And while I'm not inherently against such ideas. Cause I never once even objected to what happened in Dallas. I just don't trust the cops, or the loopholes that will allow cops to get away with all sorts of shit, and coverups.

Oh.. And by the way, the Police Lt. arguing had 74 complaints for the use of excessive force. And was even involved in a massive settlement for a shooting incident involving an unarmed person.

Honestly.. Each day USA heads into dystopia instead of trying to finding a rational solution for the issues.

Maybe investing in education, social security, proper welfare, proper gun control across the board, drug issues, rehab etc etc should be the first step of solution instead of killer robots & rapid militarization of cops to deal with the violence that exists in society.

It says it's % of their GDP. So without knowing their GDP for each year. It's kinda hard to gauge how much they are spending.

If China has twice the GDP than India. Then the spending doesn't mirror each other at all. China would be militarily outspending India by 2*. That wouldn't be mirroring each other at all.
