100% its worth it. Nothing else like it around. Get on the email list. May need tickets or cash at door. Other recs: Blue moon is one of my favs. drag show night I believe Fridays are packed though. Also, for late night and near hot mass is Tildens. Not as great as it used to be though.

You prob want strip district or lower lawrencville. Next to the stadiums is some decent stuff too. All depends on your specific scene that you prefer.

Reply to comment by Romanfiend in Is Xfinity internet bad in Pittsburgh? by jayx468
Yes, FIOS and Google Fiber are fiber optic versions. So you dont get stuck with the slower cable versions like xfinity, comcast. armstrong. The further away from the city though, the less options because of infrastructure issues(I dont believe they get the same federal or state assistance as other utilities infrastructure) . So some areas dont have fiber optic options. A good thing to check before moving.

Compared to FIOS, yes. As long as you are in or close to the city FIOS should be available to you and it trumps every other internet by a long shot.

Take a look into Deer Lakes. More affordable option with a rural feel, but still close enough for your husband. School is coming along way too.

Reply to This is like the fourth time this has happened when I inquire about a rental and its a bit exhausting. I'm not moving into a 500 Sq ft apartment on a snap decision just because that's the only way a landlord will honor the prices they're advertising by Sunfish-Studio
I mean it could have very well been the property manager doing the right thing and honoring what she said. She has a job with timelines though. Throwing you a bone and you throw it right back. They offered a tour so you didnt have to make a decision before you replied. The real estate game here moves pretty fast. Or maybe not, but consider both perspectives.

Once you find a good garage. You never have to think about parking downtown.

Definately not. Most places are local business/origional type restaurants., But, if you leave the city all of the suburbs are mostly chain restautants so if you are looking for a chain/chains they are not too far away.

I play league now but I used to go to the pick up out in PISA, if you willing to drive out that far. If they still do it, its Wednesday evenings. All the parks do pick up in the warmer months. Id check out the oval/schenly park to see if anyone is playing since its good weather. There are also a couple facebook groups you can join who do pickup throughout southside, oakland, etc.

Im not sure about this year but I know last year there was quite a large tax credit for getting them installed, so that took care of most of the upfront expense.
