Yeah unions are not always good. Look at the police or teachers unions. Reddit just likes unions a lot for some reason.

You will feel even less lonely when they are out of their booths.

Yeah 99c still goes hard. Pizza sucks but hey it's the experience that counts. They need to start selling merch for tourists who come visit tho or else idk how they are going to stay afloat.

The subway situation is easily solvable. We just need to start putting the subway under streets again instead of miles underground. Yes we will need to dig up an avenue, but it will take less than a year of closures and it's not like there are a lack of streets for cars to use as alternatives.

If Doordash/Uber/Grubhub want to do business in our city, we should charge them a fee. They charge us enough fees. Charge them a fee and put that towards these rest stops.
Edit: let me clarify, we do charge taxes, so do they. We should charge an additional fee for them. There is no way they will pass that extra cost down to the consumer. They won’t have the nerve.

Ban both. Cities are made for people. Not cars or bikes.

Seriously. Bikers have taken over the city. We need to ban bike riders between 86th-4th street.

There are lots of ways to assault someone other than punching. Any intentional physical touch can be considered assault.

It's not like the "news" and "media" magically decides what to post about. They post what will get the most clicks, which is what people are the most interested in.
Don't blame the news for this, blame people wanting to read about it. Heck, it's already becoming one of the top posts on this sub. People care about this. There is fatigue over over things.

There absolutely is a shortage of nurses. Why are you making things up? Why do people accept this lack of critical thinking based on emotions?

I mean they basically invented ESG and environmentally conscious investing, or at least made it mainstream. This is like surging Apple HQ because they are using child labor. Like yes, but they have also pushed very hard to erratically it.
