Where in the world did you get that? The CDC is recommending masks right now in indoor public spaces because of the three respiratory viruses going around.

Can you go to an urgent care location? Unbelievable that you have to wait until June for a second opinion.

OP, the comment was automodded out and did not show up in your replies. However, you still get notices about comments that are automodded. Hope that helps.

Yes, that's the issue, isn't it? The choice to adhere to spiritualism, or the rejection of it. Accepting all beliefs, without judgement, is the foundation. Thank you again for your kindness and understanding.
I wish you the very best in your journey.

Thank you for saying this. It broke my heart that my mother proceeded with last rites on my dad's death bed. He was a staunch atheist throughout his life. It's difficult for the spiritual to comprehend the utter rejection of an atheist for spiritual rituals.

Yes, it looks like you're getting your fair share, too.. Freedom of also means freedom from. I'm agnostic, myself. My dad and I had several discussions about belief systems throughout his life. His ideas didn't change on his death bed.

My father is dead. It would have been disrespectful for the chaplain to say a prayer over him. My mother went against his wishes when he was on his death bed and had a priest come in to give him his last rites. I would have stopped them if I had been there.

I hope the chaplain understood the individuals spiritual preferences in regard to prayer. My dad was an atheist.

Interestingly, this site is strongly left bias, but has a high rating for factual reporting. that has to be part of the factors when deciding if a news source is trustworthy.

The Transit app does not let you know which routes stop at the stop you're at. You have to know the route you want information on. I'm currently looking for a new app.

It cost me money to get my birth certificate and marriage license from out of state. The program you mention is only for the homeless.
My point is that it is a bullshit law imposed by the federal government and that it is inequitable, placing an undue burden on low income citizens.

TBH, I think the Real ID federal requirements are bullshit. It cost me >$75 to get the paperwork together for Real ID; I had to for my job so that I could travel. But for some low-income individuals, this can be a real burden. So they can't get into a federal building to conduct necessary business? That's hardly equitable.

I read something the other day about some laws still being on the books because they only apply to prisoners. They kept those so that legally they don't have to pay for prison labor.

That doesn't seem equivalent at all. The hostess is there to direct you seating based on how many people are in a section. I've been going to this same branch for years and I am just there, once a week, to deposit checks. I really don't need help.
I say hi to people on the street all the time. I do it when I'm riding. But greeters seem so fake. I get that they are probably not thrilled to be there.

I fluctuate between seing them as obsequious and as gatekeepers. I don't find them pleasant at all.

A quick note: The CDC is recommending masking again:

Masking does work, and is best if you can use N95 or KN95. Cloth masks aren't as effective.
