Nah I’m fully aware of its issues but if you’re into urbanism it’s far and away the best city for it in the country. What don’t you like about it?

Right my point being more people would have access to the dispensary if it was near a PATH stop. That’s the definition of not being about me. I don’t even consume any of that stuff. Don’t assume stuff.

The worst place for it is Newark where the light doesn’t even change and they’re already honking at you

Yeah the future for Newark is bright and it will improve but it’s definitely limited in a lot of ways given how tiny it is.

Yeah Newark would be a top 20-30 city if we included a good chunk of the immediate suburbs of Essex county like Montclair, the oranges, millburn, etc

Yeah by population but land area we’re smaller than a lot of towns. The largest “city” by land area is Vineland in south jersey but it’s a city in name only and would appear rural to most people

Yup that’s the other thing. That 24 square miles includes a lot of airport and port land that isn’t useable for the general population so the city is really even smaller than that. Maybe like 18-20 miles of usable space.

Newark is quite small especially by American city standards. We have the population of Pittsburgh ~300k but only about half the land that Pittsburgh does (24 square miles for Newark while Pittsburgh is almost 50 miles total).

Baraka doesn’t care but it gives him good press to make it seem like he does. It’s good regardless but dude is a political chameleon who will morph himself into whatever he needs to in order to gain positive attention.
