Unfortunately, Dark City is no longer amongst us, but Kane is an awesome tour and facility to check out.

Every brewery in the state.
I recommend calling ahead and trying to do a tour while they're running the bottling it canning line (not every brewery packages).

The state is only allowing breweries to host 25 total events per year on top of a bunch of other rules to try to keep the customers away from breweries and at the bars instead (drinking Budweiser of course). So breweries are only allowed 2 TVs, no soda, no coffee, no food, no food trucks, and a ton of other things.... But also maxed at 25 events per year. And anything that's advertised (and some things that aren't even advertised) count against that 25 event cap.

Full disclosure.... I'm the guy from Bolero Snort, which is why I had that awesome partnership with Dog and Cask for so long.
I'd love to host it more at the brewery, but our new regulations make it close to impossible. I did a few here back in the outdoors-only days of the pandemic and I was shocked at the turnouts including so many of the regulars from trivia night at dog and Cask.
I do hope to do a star wars themed one next May.

The pandemic has really taken a toll on bars, restaurants and breweries. Im just happy to see people trying to get out there and support the biz.

There's a LOT less trivia out there since the pandemic and the NJ government decided to make it close to impossible for breweries to host trivia but here's a decent list to get you started:
The Hearth Tavern in Garfield Caps on Main in Hackensack Charlie Bloods in Garfield The ties in Little Falls (Passaic county)
((Below this line may be outdated info. Check to see if they still do it))
Davey's Irish pub in Montvale Plank Pizza Beer Parlor in Saddle Brook Celtic Corner in Hawthorne Blackjack Mulligans in Garfield & Hawthorne The Yard in Haledon Gus' Last Word in Wood Ridge Tommy Fox's in Bergenfield Midland Brew House in Saddle Brook Stone & Rail in Glen Rock Cornerstone in Hillsdale Allendale Bar and Grill Mawah bar and grill Gerry's Place in Norwood Shannon Rose Clifton and Ramsey

The family who owns and runs brothers, and Blend next door, are wonderful people. This place deserves everyone's support.
