Dels mix - outstanding with vodka and ice. You can even buy the cheap vodka. You can also make variations on lemon drop martinis using dels mix, so I imagine you could make a lemon shot using stronger mix.

Autocrat syrup -- I've had good luck making both mudslides and coffee martinis.

i'm a RIC grad. I went because it was cheaper and I was paying my own way through school. I've been out for years now, and in my professional life have worked with people who went to Harvard, Yale and other really expensive colleges. We all billed out the same.

Yes, if you go to some prestige schools, there are networks involved which help land better jobs. But once you are in the working world, it really doesn't matter. A degree is a degree.

Also, I think RIC's cache has come up in the world as of late with Viola Davis and more famous graduates.

The campus also has had quite a bit of money pushed into it -- when I went there buildings were falling down, etc. Now, most of the quad has relatively new buildings.

I laughed when I saw your post..sorry.. I had a gas leak and was asked to wait 2 months for service at Tasca Ford.

This was during the pandemic, but still. I was really worried my car would blow up, and instead found a local mechanic who could help.

Everytime I needed an oil change or something it was always really expensive and or scheduled out far. I no longer own that car.

i have always had an odd fear and dislike of gas stoves and when we rehabbed this old house we capped the gas lines and put in electric -- our construction team did it, but we had to tell National Grid at the time.

Two years later we had to call them because there was a leak on our street. If we had kept them we would have had to replace all the lines to our house.

I always see Turkeys in the fall around in Johnston -- especially in the morning. There are some nests along the Woony bike path. I know because my dog and I were chased away by one.

If you have AAA they have a windshield vendor that will come out and do it as well for less than average prices. It depends on cars.

It reminds me lots of it.

Same random stuff, some things super cheap. I'd be wary of the 2003 cookies, however, I scored an incredibly good deal on a carpet.

They also had an Idris Elba coloring book, and I have shoppers regret over not purchasing it.

Two dog owner here. Imho, PVD and Rhode Island is not that dog friendly.

I was in Burlington VT for years and that was much more dog friendly, with much nicer dog parks & outdoor activities -- dogs were also welcome in the main shopping areas.

The dog parks around the state are a just a pile of dirt mounds and weeds. There is one dog friendly beach too, and its in the middle of an industrial park.
