I’m just curious to see how long the people are going to shut up and take it in until they start to push back. Sure now the M2 supply is still high lots of people have a padded savings account, but that’s fast dwindling and it’s starting to eat into the basic needs of Maslow’s hierarchy

Thank you for your kind words and the offer to help. I appreciate it. I can absorb the cost but it severely affects my savings rate and I’ll have to cut down on some other expenses.

I’m fine with the hate, but I just hope people can open their eyes and see that it is not something that is unavoidable. We have one of the largest natural gas reserves on the world, even with siphoning some to Europe.

But since the industry has been privatized, profiteering has made all the CEOs blame the Ukraine war and political policies to purposely inflate the prices when they don’t really need to be. We the middle class are the ones paying for their brownie points to their shareholders.

Maybe the govt is partially to blame but it’s the corporates that lobby to them and swing policies in their favor for increasing prices. I don’t expect people on here to hear what I say but one can only wish.

And thank you for the welcome ā˜ŗļø

Could you help educate then instead of rolling your eyes? And I do know how to read. And the reason I know it’s bullshit is because the significant increase was in the delivery charges and not the actually cost of gas itself. These fuckers took over national grid (which is already private) and trying to make more profit for their shareholders by squeezing the citizens by tacking on more fees for ā€œdeliveryā€. All the while getting subsidies from the govt

I mean if states are now free to make abortions illegal and even pay people to rat on someone who even thinks of abortion resulting in jail time, what’s to stop other states from doing the same ridiculousness with things such as gun control. To each their own I guess! Just move to a different state that aligns with your views… Country fragmentation here we come!!

I don’t quite follow. Do you have to choose one of the options? Or are those sequences in the proof? I mean you are right, none of them seem to make sense.

The only statement I would say is angle X is a right angle lol.

In order to prove AC perpendicular to BD, you just have to prove that the triangles inside the parallelogram are right angle triangles.

You have to use the angle property of a parallelogram which says: The interior opposite angles are equal. But more importantly, the sum of adjacent angles in a parallelogram = 180.

Ref

Since AC bisects BCD, let’s call angle ECB as x. So angle ECD is also x

Similarly let’s call the bisected angle of ABC as 2y, therefore EBC = EBA = y

Now we know that 2x+2y=180 (referenced above) Now it’s just simple algebra. Dividing the equation above by 2, you get: x+y=90.

So angle ECB + angle EBC = 90. So in the triangle BEC, you have the sum of 2 angles as 90. Remember the rule of triangles? The sum of all the angles of a triangle result in 180. Therefore the only logical explanation is that the remaining angle BEC should be = 90. Which means that AC has to be perpendicular to BD
