Very true. Which is why it is important to check that before investing in a heat source.

Before I got my heat pump I looked at historic electric outages and temperatures over the past 10 years. It was a clear winner in terms of efficiency and reliability of infrastructure.
I grew up with wood.I have a pellet stove currently but heat pump tech has come a long way and they truely are hard to beat at this point

What’s your primary use for it going to be. It looks pretty neat but with a 60mile range, I see it more as an in town bike than anything else.

I remember a friend saying they saw them in Burlington and it would have been after 88.
I brought my son to see them in 2019 to bridge the generation gap. Father and son in a mosh pit as raining blood starts.
The best concert of my life.

I think is was 88 not 91.

I understand you made a sub to discuss topics that interest you but you post duplicates or cross post things here which have been discussed here already and you are often a few days later, rehashing discussions that have already happened.
While not a bad thing in and of itself it seems like rather then engage, you a looking to drive a conversation or narrative rather then discuss an event. It seems topics and conversations like that with a blatantly political slant a better suited for the sub you created and less interesting here in a general context.
With that said, I agree that off duty leo need more controls on off duty hours.

Yes, I think they would but they would be dealt with differently. If you take the responsibility to be the biller you need to know the rules.
thisoneisnotasbad t1_j6mf5ps wrote
Both.
The only sketchy one was paying the bf for hours not worked. The others sound like stupid “I don’t know the rules” mistakes. The hours one though... everybody knows you don’t get paid when you don’t work.
At this level is doesn’t seem to rise to the level of 100 years behind bars, seems more like a slap on the wrist type crime than a go directly to jail crime,

There is literally no time shooting a coyote is illegal in VT. There is a defined trapping season but not a defined hunting season. Facts matter.

That is not a font, that is why you can’t find it. That is a piece of art where the artist drew those letters.

My wild ass uneducated guess is that something caused the underground springs which feed it to be a little warmer than normal and the lack of consistent cold temps we have had are not enough to break through and start the freeze process.

It is strange. It was frozen last year. Most of the lakes is checked out at least have an ice covering even if it's not safe to access.

(Summary)
There is a new boss. He attempted to be the boss before he was set to be the boss. The old/existing boss revoked his access to systems. Once the date passes, he is the new boss, gets all his access back and the old boss moves on.
Lots of employees don’t like the new boss and about 1/2 the force has quit as of when the new boss starts.
