This. The new headlights just get brighter and brighter. I swear some of them are even installed incorrectly as well. It’s like they’re aimed too high.

Reply to NYC vs DC? Which is a better place to live. by [deleted]
I’ve lived in both of those cities. And LA. And Phoenix. And Minneapolis. Now I’m in Boston. When you have a job and responsibilities, then every city is practically the same. What qualities of life are the most important to you? Do you value open spaces and a relaxed pace? Do you crave non-stop action and battling for every. single. thing? NY is fun, and exciting, and one-of-a-kind, but it will grind you into dust if you let it.

Arlington here. My kids’ baseball coach moved up here from Dallas. We’re a walkable neighborhood (tree-lined streets with sidewalks on both sides) close to downtown and transportation. You won’t get an acre, but you can get a nice single family (or double-decker for rental income) for 900k. The two-family across the street from me just sold for that price. We are walking distance to grocery stores, drug stores, hardware stores, Starbucks, restaurants, and parks. I’m never going to leave. It’s perfect.

I support this plan, but how do we know Busta likes rope swings?

Hard to jump on board with this one.

I like this. I was trying to think of a way to setup a trust that pays out regular amounts to my favorite causes if I happen to win. Paying it forward to strangers works too!

Go to Portsmouth, NH though. It’s cool.

Snap. The waitstaff can be so snotty. Thought it was part of their schtick. I really only go there for the cozy feeling and the beers.

I would suggest the Olde Forge in Lanesborough, but they’re closed temporarily.
Any fall festivals at Jiminy Peak while you’re there could be fun. Maybe head a bit further north and see MassMOCA in North Adams…

Is it though? I’m always curious just how thorough my annual inspection is.
