They should install every third one with a concrete bollard. Surprise!

The shot of the one quint with the nozzle still in rescue mode pretty much encapsulates the experience.

I'd love it if they'd close the island down every few years and burn that stuff off.

Neonate. I learned it was one month, though.

This is not the first time this person has been on here defending his shitty co-cyclists. And I'm referring to the dangerous ones, not the ones just trying to get from point A to point B.

The built-in/FLSA overtime isn't counted the same as unscheduled overtime.

Be careful with e-collar use. It's popular, but positive-reinforcement training should be your first (and preferably only) preference.

Most of the pedestal-putters are here to downvote anyone who even dares to hint he isn't the very bestest. The report came out a few days back about the sketchy Head Start stuff—which they can't blame on the school board—and it's crickets. 🤷♀️

This is the answer. We haven't had single-digit vacancies for a very long time. We've been working mandatory overtime for a couple of years.

Oh, no doubt! But having those beds will at least give us a safe place to put people that isn't a hallway. I wonder how they're gonna staff it tho 🤔

Instead of us waiting for an ambulance in the field because they're stranded in a no-bed-having ER, the patient can wait in an ER bed for a scheduled transport. Sounds like a winner to me.

I don't think the volume will change much, but the turnaround time sure will.

I went in there years ago with a receipt to try to return a knee brace and the owner accused me of shoplifting it because the receipt wasn't itemized (?). He followed me around the store. I was wearing scrubs and my work ID. It was so bizarre. Never been back.
