besides being bad for the kids, the school is shooting itself in the foot.
instead of letting kids go outside and blow off steam, get fresh air and generally reboot, they keep them cooped up inside where they'll get more fidgety and act up.
source: i'm a parent to two young kids.

Reply to Are Dollar General stores and others only found in areas that are perceived as low income? by pem4423
>“The business model for these stores is built on saturation,” said Julia McCarthy, senior policy associate at the nonprofit Center for Science in the Public Interest and a critic of dollar stores. “When you have so many dollar stores in one neighborhood, there’s no incentive for a full-service grocery store to come in.”

Reply to RI needs this PSA: How to use the passing lane of a highway. Yall camp in the left lane. by sonickid101
one of my parents is german so i spent a lot of time there growing up. even as a kid i knew that the left lane had a singular purpose: you pass and then get out.
of course, this was the autobahn so you were doing 100mph while others were barreling down at 130.

funny. i actually drove past it last weekend on my way to new york. don't know outside of its reputation how it is as a school but damn it's impressively pretty.

can you ask your local police department what your options are? or have a friend ask on your behalf if you thinking asking directly puts you on their radar.

my dad used to drive to new haven and take metro north in from there. if you do this, try to time it so you're taking an express and not a local.
