The fake ones are really much safer. If you've ever seen a real one catch on fire and how quick it goes up in flames, it's terrifying.

If you don't like paying for it go buy a fake tree from a multi billion dollar corporation

I can't speak for the schools. But everything else is great. It's very underrated as a town.

I second this. I just dump them in someone else's yard. As long as you don't get caught you're good.

Well I gave you the right approach. Go talk to your neighbors. Ask them about their beliefs and customs. Look for a compromise. There's nothing insensitive about that. People can learn from each other without being perfectly politically correct. I can assure you, as long as you're open minded you won't offend anyone.

So can we start setting off fireworks outside your window at 1am?

Be an adult and go ask your neighbors. There's nothing offensive about asking how long it might go on. Setting off fireworks in the middle of the night is obnoxious even though celebrating one's culture/religion is important. I'm sure if you had a conversation you could find a middle ground that works for both of you. And you might even learn something or make new friends in the process.

It's okay. I just think that if these people want trees that could take up to 10 years to grow, for only 60 bucks, they should start their own farm. It's tough running a small business these days.
