Jones has been more accurate with less weapons and has a running game which Carr doesn’t. Yes, I think Jones is better than Carr but I’m also a Giants fan so there’s obviously some bias in me

As a Giants fan, I also don’t like this deal at this price, but Danny Dimes is better than both Geno and Carr
What annoys me about this deal is that we were essentially negotiating against ourselves and still somehow ended up paying top of the market.
I don’t follow the news that heavily so I’m not sure what that market was for DD but I doubt any team would’ve paid him anywhere close to this amount so why did we? Is there a team that would’ve paid even $120mil / 4 for him?

Eh, it was the softest tug of the jersey for not even half a second that had zero effect on the play in the biggest moment of the season. Soft touches like this happen on almost every single play and almost never get called. Refs have the ability to exercise discretion and absolutely messed it up on that play
If you think the refs were right to call that, you probably also think someone who gets fined for going 61 in a 60 had it coming

It gives the ball back to the Eagles with ~1:30 on the clock and a timeout which is plenty of time to get into field goal range
It would’ve at least set up a great ending to what was, to that point, a great game but instead the penalty allowed the chiefs to take two knees and run the clock down

Think you’re being a bit disingenuous here. Whilst I agree that OSU got dog walked at home, it was against the second best team in the country and I feel like this is being heavily understated in your comment. A loss against Michigan is definitely better than a loss against Kansas State and the committee knows this.
I’m confident that the committee put OSU 4th to avoid an inconference match-up in the semis. Had Michigan been #1, OSU would’ve been #3 without question.
The committee did the same thing last year when #1 ranked Georgia lost by 17 to the 4th seed Alabama in Georgia. Bama moved up to #1 and somehow Georgia still managed to outrank an undefeated Cincinnati.

Sure, he’s not a great NFL QB by any means but he’s still a former Heisman winner and 1st overall pick. Not many people can say that
