Sure you can, $1000+ parkas sell every year at those prices at the clearance racks in stores like Sail. The only company that doesn’t let retailers do that is Canada Goose, and OP has already made it clear they’re not into the shoulder patch cult.

Reply to Movies on Aerial Warfare like Top Gun:Maverick, recalling some of them, though most are WW2 ones. by LoneWolfInCyberia
Not so much aerial as air-to-surface, but anyone who loves Star Wars should see The Dam Busters. It will blow your mind just how closely the “trench run” was based on its titular attack sequence.

Kevin Smith advocates pirating the movie, and the Weinstein Company hasn’t been actively taking it down. It’s that simple.

Reply to New Washing Machine - SpeedQueen by nerdyharrybartending
I prefer agitators, personally, and I very very strongly prefer a couple mechanical dials and switches to anything with a computerized display or touch panel.
I am also a big fan of gas dryers, but these days if you have a solar array on your roof obviously it makes sense to go as electric as possible with all things.
I had a pair of speed queens in a previous house and I still miss them every time I do laundry.

Reply to [Discussion] Anyone else struggles with following shows because of the increasingly longer breaks between seasons? by IBoris
I wouldn’t say I “struggle” with it, but it does make me wanna sit down and watch a good movie (that’s not in a franchise) more often, instead of getting into too much prestige TV. Still watch and love some of it of course.
On occasion. I want an actual complete story with a conclusion, you know? It’s not just the waiting either, sometimes you wait years and then it’s just unceremoniously cancelled by some random executive.

Reply to Joke in History of the World: Part 1 by AcceptableHeight308
The joke (and various versions of it) absolutely predates the film and goes back many generations, don’t forget where Mel Brooks comedic roots are from. It’s funny because if you know your Bible stories, you know that according to (scripture, myth, whatever you want to call it) there were multiple versions of the commandments in the source material anyway.
