For anyone who is not aware of what he's talking about. Here's the in depth report from the Chinese Aerospace Studies Institute.
TLDR all "private" aerospace companies in China have deep connections with the Communist Party. You don't get anywhere without the Party telling you what to do.

That's speculating a future where space tourism became routine on rockets running either RP1 or hypergolics... Doesn't even mention the one rocket that actually has a shot of making space tourism routine..

I don't care either way, I'm just curious. Even tho posting the contents of an article that isn't paywalled isn't exactly useful to me in particular.

They got caught because of internal investigations at JAXA, found the root cause themselves and are working on steps to ensure the incident doesn't repeat themselves. Overall JAXA handled the problem fairly well after catching it.
China only gets caught red-handed making up data when external researchers dig into it. Deny the problem, try to censor it. Keep trying to cheat science but work on steps to better hide what they're doing so they don't get caught again. Overall there's an ongoing systematic scientific fraud in Chinese academia.

And none of them have ever proven the data to be nothing alien or supernatural. End of story. Come back when you have better evidence.

That has a value of exactly zero to the scientific method. Eye witness testimony is unreliable regardless of whose testimony it is. That's science 101.

They won key contracts with NASA. They're already an important part of CLD and KSC. So it makes sense their input is taken into account when discussing these.
Whether they'll deliver and make good use of those is another story..
