Some of it is the high taxes of course, but also higher wages. For Norway in particular their agriculture is extremely limited so they have to import a lot of food, in order to protect what production they do have, there are sky high import duties on most things. And being on the edge of the continent it's not realistic to import everything from places like Spain or Italy with lower production costs, but have to get it from Netherlands, Germany and Denmark which have higher costs, but can provide fresh vegetables.

Price wise, Denmark is the by far cheapest one. So if you struggled with danish prices don't go to Norway.
On different notes: Culturally it's very similar, if you're not nordic you'd just classify the differences as different local quirks. Nature is basically terrain opposites, Denmark is flat with gently rolling hills lots of farmland, interspersed with forests, fjords, heaths, sandy beaches. Norway is rugged mountains with fjords cutting deep valleys, and wide forests on the mountains.

It's just normal for us that everything is expensive.

Bring money, Norway is very beautiful, but if you're not nordic, it's kinda prohibitively expensive.

What if you want one that say 12? Or 32, or 47?

First, that's a dead link. Second, no matter what it says it's irrelevant, if Greece delivers those weapons to Ukraine, tell me exactly how they move it to Africa, no links, no hemming and hawing, just the pure logistics of smuggling massive weapons out via NATO land routes or on a ship through the black sea undetected, and why, when they need it badly on the front.

Pretty much yes, you can get something pretty close, not the walmart one linked though, but they exist, they're just not the actual thing.

Same here, the travel company I went with was well aware of the time needed, so had arranged early breakfast at our hotel, close by (many make the mistake of staying in Amman), so we could get to the site as early as possible, so we could have a full day there

So you saw some of it at least, but if you really want to see all there is in the area it'll take at least 2 days, and then it's still rushed. When I was there I chose the city itself, and that alone I could easy use 2 days on. But as I said, so many from especially far east and US only ever goes to more than just the entrance, kind of like having a layover in Heathrow and then thinking you've been to London.

Did you go to Petra or just to the entrance? Petra actually lies beyond this picture, to the right and straight ahead. When i was there it was eerie to see that beyond this point almost all americans and east asians were not to be seen, only europeans and arabs.
