I work in Groton on the Navy base and live in PVD. It's a solid hour commute each way. It's a slog. You have to go really early to get your 8 hours in and beat the traffic. (I work 6:30 - 2:30, my alarm is set for 5am)

I'd strongly suggest looking for a place to live in CT if you can and go to PVD on the weekends. Is his job permanent? I'm only commuting because this is not a long term position.

So you like extra food piled on top of a poorly made donut? You can only hide so much with all that extra sugar.

I haven't been to Jacky's in a long time (and it was the Mineral Spring location). But, I always appreciated it for decent inexpensive sushi. The rice was actually fresh (a little warm) which delighted me.

That area has also been HEAVILY gentrified via the WBNA. Never saw a neighborhood organization so intent on controlling what businesses establish themselves as the WBNA does.
