Oak already posted about needing to hire more staff. If the quality does drop you can't really justify the high pricing.
PVDonuts was never good quality IMO. They got by on novelty more than anything else.

Bubbie's Deli on Hope makes great sandwiches.

This is gonna be an unpopular opinion, but when I first heard about this being a jewish-ish bakery, I was hoping for an old school neighborhood corner spot vibe. (Was also excited for the idea of bagels but they're not making them - just the long Jerusalem style ones)
I don't have the right words but the millenial type styling and merchandise wall seems tone deaf to the neighborhood. u/downpat was more eloquent about the discussion regarding gentrification.

I appreciate that volunteering makes you feel good but you've completely avoided the question - implying that at least subconsciously you understand unsolicited spam if frowned upon by the majority and viewed as wrong.

How do you feel about the fact that you're engaging in text spam?

I'm getting voting texts for the wrong people too. It's so frustrating I might have told them to alternatively fuck off and/or buy a better phone list.
(if it's a local area code, odds are it's someone volunteering to willingly spam people for a political campaign.)
Also, I saw in another reddit thread you can remove your phone and email information from your voter registration since it's not required.

Any more information on this? I'd like to know. This seems like a project for pvdstreets to get involved in.

What about all the journalists who post to farm traffic to their content?
I'm not saying outright ban, but something should be done to limit it. At least the projo & boston globe people don't spam but it's all content behind soft paywalls.

It's a valid description. Red Ink openly markets as a political, socialist leaning space. It's not a library you take your kids to to borrow children's books.
