February and march are brutal here. Endless grey gloom. They should move Christmas/winter holidays to March so at least we’d have something to look forward to.

I just checked the demographics and it turns out WH is actually 3% less white than Manchester, but the median income is 50k more.

I love that trail but I’m not sure about camping either. I’m not sure if it’s legal to camp on any trail or if it has to be a campsite. I’d probably prefer a campsite with the kids either way.

I lived in Manhattan for a few years and then flirted hard with Delaware county PA. Ended up back in CT and happy I did.

It’s hard. I’m 39 and haven’t really had a new friend since my 20s. I’m married with kids and I have a job which fulfills my social needs personally. That being said, when I do get lonely I’ve been going to yoga classes. I think just being out of the house around a positive group helps even if you’re not talking to anyone.

We need raised crossing or something. The cross town bike path is awesome but eventually you get to these massive intersections with long lights people do their best to beat

They were going to close the north main one when the Avon store opened but I guess they do enough business to sustain both.
I miss the shop rite in town. West Hartford needs a budget supermarket.

I get that. I always tell my wife that it’s like we live in a dorm for grown ups. You have some space in your house but you can’t go outside without having to interact.
That being said there’s allot to like. We live in th e new cross town bike path which is cool. I love being able to bike anywhere I need to go.
