Yeah, currently I use Verizon prepaid which is cheaper, but I really want LTE in my smartwatch lol so I will probably switch over.

Good to know! Whereabouts do you usually spend your time? I was always under the impression that t mobile was great in cities but poor everywhere else, but I'd love to learn that that information is out of date.

I do have them for Internet. I think I might go this route. I'm looking for a new plan because I use Verizon prepaid and it doesn't support my smartwatch. Since Xfinity uses Verizon and it doesn't seem wildly more expensive than my current plan, I'll probably do this.

I'm an LGBTQ atheist, and I don't necessarily think it's bad to have a faith forward business. However, you must realize that in choosing to do your marketing this way, you are (intentionally or not) creating a safe space for certain people and an unsafe space for certain other people. I don't think it's wrong for a business to have a target market, and in this case your target market is people who have not experienced direct or indirect abuse from the church. I would never visit a business that markets like this after repeatedly being called an abomination and a slut by my churches growing up. If you have a Christian forward business without explicitly denouncing that kind of behavior, you're complicit and very strongly pushing away people like me from your business. That's a choice that is your right to make.

It's more that I'm wary about getting imagery and words thrown at me that I associate with abuse and toxicity. I'd rather not visit a place that I think is likely to make me hyper vigilant and anxious, or even unsafe.

Awesome thanks! I tried out mastodon for a little a while back. Couldn't really get into it. But I also hardly use Twitter or Facebook.

Reply to Best heating oil company to use? We need kerosene but can't afford $7/ gallon at the company we called. New to this type of heating and kinda struggling to figure this out. Company says minimum of 100 gallon order. Our tank is 275g . 275x7= omg in gonna freeze to death. by [deleted]
I have not shopped around so I can't compare to others, but I use Johnson Energy and have been happy with their customer service and timeliness - I call when I need oil and they usually do it within a day or two.

I think there are regulations, but most manufacturers break them because it's what sells more, and it's difficult to enforce. Too lazy to find sources but I'm pretty sure I read something to that effect the last time I was buying new lights.

There are a lot of factors but I'm pretty sure most headlights are brighter than they are regulated, but they make them too bright because that's what sells, and it's difficult to enforce a lumen limit. As others said, lights aren't aligned well. But also a lot of roads in VT, I suspect, are angled such that even properly aligned lights will end up hitting you in the face. Finally, I suspect lots of people just use auto high beams and these are imperfect.

That's awesome! Is this new? I knew Montpelier had a program like this but I didn't realize there was a statewide one.

Wow, where do you live? The places I've seen in my area that use natural gas end up costing more than oil usually.. maybe I've only looked at home with natural gas that have terrible insulation?

Good for you but the manual labor is not worth it to me hah. I helped my dad with it all growing up and I am not interested in that.

Reply to Where to stay ? by qtrturntime
If you are loaded, check out twin farms. It's a world class resort, but rooms start at 2.6k lol.
Otherwise, I enjoyed a stay at Green Mountain Inn in Stowe. Cute little area, nice restaurant, and nice tubs in rooms. Woodstock inn is probably good too - I haven't stayed there but I have gone to the spa and it was very good, and I've heard the restaurant is great, and I love walking around Woodstock.

I just tried Mountain Girl Dispensary in Rutland yesterday a few days ago. I'm not super experienced with weed - I usually just get a disposable vape pen and/or gummies. I always listen to the staff but then can never remember well enough to know what I like lol.
So I might not be the best "reviewer", but I had a fine experience. Quick, simple. I bought a pre wrapped blunt for $14. I've smoked it the past 2 nights, still have a lot left and it's given me a good high.
They didn't have the disposable vape pens I usually like to get. There were edibles, but I wasn't really seeking them at that moment.
Honestly the convenience of having it right in town, and the process being easy, and staff being nice - that's enough for me to give a rave review lol.
