Oh, nice, autogenerated meeting minutes and stuff is a great QOL feature. I, uh, probably should have read the article, oops

Somehow this feels less impactful than I was thinking it would feel. I mean, Gmail has had sentence autocomplete suggestions for a long time now, and this is largely the same kind of thing.

It's a lot harder to find/gather/create/curate a large high quality dataset of audio recordings relevant to a given task than it is for image or tabular data.

Same Chrome build as you, GTX 1080. I'm US but usually have my VPN set to somewhere in eastern Europe, no difference after turning it off. I see this.

I'm definitely not seeing whatever you're seeing, if I set that video to 144p and full-screen it (1440p monitor) I get an unwatchable mess, not an unwatchable mess that's been upscaled and sharpened like your screenshots.

If you want a nonfiction account of events would likely proceed if the grid suffered massive widespread failure, read "Lights Out" by Ted Koppel.

Right. If your company is wasting time and resources interviewing people only to reject 29 out of every 30 candidates, that's not a problem with the candidates, that's a you problem. Either you're advertising the position wrong or you're evaluating candidates wrong or both.

Have spiking networks actually produced any meaningful results? Granted, the last time I looked into the field was like 5 years ago, but back then the answer was definitely "no, these are just a toy".
