You could probably kill a turkey in any town along the Connecticut river with almost no effort. I’m pretty sure there’s more turkeys than chipmunks in the upper valley.

I don’t think so. I think the The 90s was the period in America that it was least acceptable to be openly racist. A lot of people blame Trump for making it acceptable to be openly racist and he definitely had an effect but I think that the blatant Islamophobia of the US government after 9/11 is what really broke the dam of prejudice and it’s just been spewing ever since.

If you can find a house right in town Lebanon is fairly walkable but it’s not a place you’d want to be totally without a car. And your husband would need a car to get to Hanover most of the year unless he’s a really passionate cyclist.
