You did a good job putting a bunch of words together. Unfortunately, they don’t add up to much of anything coherent.

I do agree that there’s a lot of dumb people in this sub Reddit though.

So… what did you mean by “it’s almost like our skill set could be used to protect the constitution and average people of the United States” that sounds a lot like the tough guy talk people spout when they talk about over throwing the “tyrannical government”.

I have a Lodge enameled Dutch oven and it’s great for the price but the enamel is wearing off after a couple years of regular use and I know that doesn’t happen with LaCreuset. I’ll probably get a few more years out of it but it’ll be less than ten total. Bear in mind I use it like three or four times a week.

I don’t think these are fungus gnats. Too large. Can you get a better photo of just a couple of them? Zoom in to a little less than 50% and hold the phone about a foot away. Should get decent resolution and detail.

After that get out your vacuum and suck those things up and kill as many as you can with a swatter. If it looks like they may be from your plants get some play sand loosen the top layer with a fork and smother the top with sand then let the plants dry out and vacuum the top layer and the sand off them reapply sand and treat with a light solution of cold pressed neem.

I have electric for hot water. It’s not too expensive to run. Family of 4 and we use a lot of hot water. I’d estimate it uses 4-5kwh/day. Maybe occasionally a little more. I’d bet based on what my propane heat costs it’s cheaper than propane would be.

You know, it’s funny Toyotas used to be the trucks that were way over priced on the used market but they’re actually more reasonable than the Chevy, GMC, Ford and Dodge trucks out there. They are still exorbitantly expensive, but they tend to be in much better shape when compared with trucks of other makes with similar price, mileage and age.

Be glad you’re not looking at trucks. They’re even worse. A decently equipped decent shape 10 year old truck with 175,000 miles can be 15-20k. Notice I used the word decent. Really excellent ten year old trucks, or decent diesels, have stupidly high prices. If someone’s selling a truck for under 10k I guarantee it has some kind of major issue that’ll cost thousands to fix.

As others have said here, in the amounts that you use water for washing a car it’s not gonna reach your ground water. What you use and what is being washed off of your car is more of a concern and it’s really only a concern for the microbial life in your soil and things like worms, insects, salamanders and frogs.

Dawn dish soap works very well as a car wash and it’s quite benign.

My preference would be that it just be deregulated and it’s sale treated as any other cultivated crop but I acknowledge there needs to be some amount of regulatory framework around cannabis. So I think speaking practically a tax on sales and a fee for a retail license or cultivation of like six plants or more that pays for the office that issues the licenses and a commercial cultivation facility inspector to protect consumers from bad growing practices is kinda a necessity. Some amount of tax revenue to the state would also be a benefit.

Selling cannabis and liquor and using the threat of punishment to stop others from doing it is awfully authoritarian. The state shouldn’t be a vice cartel.

It’s a bad move. The state shouldn’t be a drug dealer. Shouldn’t sell booze either. Putting that aside state control of the cannabis market takes away a big opportunity to create profitable locally owned small businesses that would keep dollars spent on cannabis in the local economy. State control will likely only open the door to a small number of big businesses and will only serve to accumulate more money in the hands of the investment class.
